This is the first sour ale I have had, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it is definitely different. This is a wood aged beer that will definitely make you pucker a bit. I splurged on this slightly more expensive beer as a gift for the Murray's for playing at our wedding. Luckily they were kind enough to share it with us and the Phillips. Definitely worth a try if you decide to be adventurous. I would definitely buy it again if I had the cash.
